OOO "Yuzhnyy Myasokombinat" ("Southern Meat Processing Plant"), a part of "Progress Agro", was launched in 2015.
The enterprise is equipped with machinery from Bertsch-Laska (Austria), a leading supplier to the food industry. The technological line for the plant was developed by leading Russian and European design bureaus, Falkenstein and Libner.
Among the company's plans are expanding secondary processing (sausage production facility) and slaughter waste processing using waste-free technologies. This will maximize the extraction of all valuable components from the raw materials, transforming them into useful products and thereby increasing production profitability.
The plant boasts its own strong raw material base – 70% of the raw materials are supplied from the company's pig farming complexes, ensuring the sustainability of the livestock segment.
Investments in the project exceeded 1.5 billion rubles.
